Alongside a majestic river and following a trail of magnificent castles, we arrive at the heart of what is known as the “Garden of France”.
Perhaps not the usual garden, as here vineyards give birth to new flavours that never fail to surprise. The many grape varieties will take you away to different vinous worlds: still, dessert and even sparkling wines.
From the Massif Central to the estuary, the vitality of these great wines is derived from the variations in the soil. The red should be delected early whereas the sweet whites should be allowed to mature.
