MONTLOUIS SUR LOIRE “MOELLEUX” 2019 75 CL

Here is an area at the top of the Montlouis appellation which makes a group shot with all its cuvées. Wine broker more than twenty years ago, Jacky Blot took over the vines in Montlouis and undertook different vinifications by constantly innovating. With fermentation in barrels and aging in barrels, he breathed new life into the appellation by creating La Taille aux Loups.

This sweet wine comes from a plot of old vines planted in 1973 and located in the town of Montlouis-sur-Loire. The exceptional sunshine of 2019 coupled with the manual harvest by selective sorting of the bunches made it possible to harvest this chenin at maximum maturity.
