Glenfiddich has achieved a little wonder with the refining of this 21 year old Single Malt. After gently aging in bourbon barrels, the distillery completed a four-month finish in barrels that once contained Caribbean rum produced in the Sancti-Spiritus region, a town in the heart of the island of Cuba. This last step gives this Reserva Rum Cask Finish version an astonishing aromatic fusion. Sweet hints of sugar cane combine with spicy notes of pepper marked by exotic fruits. The aromatic palette evolves on violet, tobacco and vanilla. The result is a deliciously rich and creamy Single Malt that retains the uniqueness of Glenfiddich.
