The Macallan distillery takes care of its spring water, its craftsmanship, its selection of barrels and even the factors of seasonality. This Macallan Sherry Oak bottling is aged for a quarter of a century in European oak barrels seasoned with sherry, a great Spanish wine. This rare 25 year old edition is bottled at 43% in a sublime and sober wooden case.Due to its prolonged aging in this type of barrel, this single malt has a rich natural mahogany color and citrus aromas. , toffee, sherry and burnt wood. The palate is full and develops on notes of raisins, ripe cherries continuing on dark chocolate, candied fruit cake and gingerbread.
