Petit vignoble, situé tout près de Libourne sur la rive droite de la Dordogne, représentant moins de 800 hectares, et jouxtant celui de Saint Emilion, il n’en est pas moins réputé pour produire de très grands vins alliant le côté délicat et séveux des Saint-Emilion avec la puissance des vins du Médoc.

Domaine :

C’est à la fin du 19ème siècle que Louis Nicolas achète ce domaine de 11,7 hectares, voisin de Petrus et Cheval Blanc. Les héritiers Nicolas, toujours présents à la gestion du château La Conseillante, sont identifiés sur l’étiquette par le blason « LN ». Cet attachement au vignoble familial n’a d’égal que la qualité des vins produits, à la fois suaves et racés, ils impressionnent par leur fraicheur et leur équilibre.

Vin :

La collerette violette des bouteilles de Château la Conseillante fait écho à sa robe violine. Les arômes intenses de fruits rouges, de violette, de réglisse se dégage du verre pour faire place à une bouche charnue et onctueuse. Le fin boisé, les épices, le fruité, tout se mêle harmonieusement pour terminer sur une finale longue et pleine de fraicheur. Un joyau de l’appellation.

Le château Tertre Roteboeuf est un petit domaine d’environ 5 hectares situé au sud de Saint Emilion. Loin des grands dictats bordelais, François Mitjaville, vigneron passionné, a su sublimer ses merlots pour nous offrir des vins exceptionnels, mûrs, denses et profonds au grand potentiel de garde. Cette production confidentielle a été largement dépassé par sa renommée et se place parmi les meilleurs vins de l’appellation.

Vin :

Quelque soit le millésime, le château Tertre Roteboeuf nous offre des vins magnifiques. Ils sont étonnants de complexité et de profondeur. Les arômes sont puissants et concentrés, la bouche d’un velouté inouï laisse place à une sensation de fraicheur et une finale interminable. Une main de fer dans un gant de velours !
