Région :

L’appellation Pessac Léognan est située à l’est de Bordeaux et longe les bords de la Garonne. Mondialement connue notamment grâce au Château Haut-Brion, elle doit sa renommée en partie à la grande typicité de son terroir. Façonné de croupes de graves (petit caillou), le vignoble de Pessac Léognan a tous les atouts pour produire des vins exceptionnels reconnus par le fameux classement de 1855.

Domaine :

Le Château Haut Brion est l’un des premiers châteaux vinicoles bordelais. Les plus grands monarques étaient de fervents adeptes de ses vins dès le XVIème siècle. Le prestige, la notoriété et la qualité des vins firent du Château Haut-Brion le seul 1er Grand Cru Classé hors Médoc. Le château représente aujourd’hui une cinquantaine d’hectares situés sur un terroir unique qui y est certainement pour beaucoup dans l’excellence de ses flacons.

Vin :

Peut-on encore parler de vin ? Ce nectar est une telle légende, marqué par l’histoire qu’il est difficile de mettre des mots dessus. Le vin de Haut-Brion se vit avant de se déguster. Sa puissance aromatique, son équilibre irréprochable et son élégance incomparable font de lui un des vins les plus prestigieux au potentiel de garde exceptionnel.

Situé au parallèle 45 ; à mi-chemin entre le pôle nord et l’équateur, sur la rive droite de la Dordogne, le vignoble de Saint Emilion est le plus vaste du Bordelais. Sa richesse de patrimoine et ses paysages viticoles en ont fait le premier vignoble inscrit au Patrimoine Mondial de l’UNESCO.

Domaine :

Le château Tertre Roteboeuf est un petit domaine d’environ 5 hectares situé au sud de Saint Emilion. Loin des grands dictats bordelais, François Mitjaville, vigneron passionné, a su sublimer ses merlots pour nous offrir des vins exceptionnels, mûrs, denses et profonds au grand potentiel de garde. Cette production confidentielle a été largement dépassé par sa renommée et se place parmi les meilleurs vins de l’appellation.

Vin :

Quelque soit le millésime, le château Tertre Roteboeuf nous offre des vins magnifiques. Ils sont étonnants de complexité et de profondeur. Les arômes sont puissants et concentrés, la bouche d’un velouté inouï laisse place à une sensation de fraicheur et une finale interminable. Une main de fer dans un gant de velours !
