Heterogeneity marked this 2012 vintage, from bud burst, disrupted by a cool and rainy month of April, to veraison which took place slowly. Fortunately, July and August were ideally hot and dry. This mild summer weather allowed us to carry out very meticulous work in order to reduce the climatic consequences of Spring. For two months, our teams did everything to make the harvest as homogeneous as possible, in particular by dropping the grapes that were the most late at the time of veraison. The harvest began, for the reds and whites, under the sun. 2012 is a very fine vintage for early terroirs such as ours.
