An emblematic domain of the Rhône Valley, Domaine Vernay is renowned for its Côte-Rôtie and its Condrieu.

Christine Vernay, who has been in charge of the management of the Domaine and the winemaking for more than 20 years, succeeded in 1996 to her father (Georges Vernay, recognized for having saved the appellation and the Viognier grape variety) and to her grandfather (Francis Vernay ), at the origin of the creation of the Domain.

Les Chaillées de l’Enfer is a wine “with crazy charm”. With the fruit, it combines citrus fruits, waxed notes and other more floral, more vegetal, and spices. Condrieu all in tension, saline and iodized, racy, with a very nice freshness, it is a wine of great purity with a perfect balance that one would say firm-tender.
