The Nolet family has operated their distillery in Schiedam, the Netherlands, since 1691, but it wasn't until the 1990s that production of Ketel One vodka began. In a very short time, it has become one of the most demanded premium brands in the United States. The wheat used for production is gently distilled, first in a Column Still, then in a Pot Still powered by coal (Dutch = "ketel").
