Château Pavie is one of the four Grands Crus Classés A of the AOC Saint Emilion with Château Cheval Blanc, Château Ausone, and Château Angélus. It was in 2012 that Château Angélus and Château Pavie joined Château Cheval Blanc and Château Ausone in this golden square of the appellation.

Pavie is a red wine made from Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, like many wines from the Bordeaux region.

This Premier Grand Cru is adorned with a very beautiful deep purplish color. The nose is explosive, the smoke, the roasted coffee, the aromatic range of stewed black fruits, cooked for a long time, make up the diversity and complexity of a great wine.
