LA CHAPELLE HERMITAGE JABOULET 1988, 75CL
The name of the Hermitage “La Chapelle” is linked to the small Saint-Christophe chapel overlooking the terraced vineyard overlooking the Rhône. Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné has been the sole owner since 1919. The diversity of the terroirs of the “lieux dits” gives the wine a particular identity thanks to the blending of the different plots.
After a long cellaring, the dark color gives way to a moderately intense garnet, and the notes of fresh, floral and citrus fruits to candied red fruits and chocolate and truffle aromas. The tannins are fine and the finish very long, it is a very great moment of tasting that we wish to all amateurs.
