Resulting from successive and rigorous selections carried out at each stage of production, in the vineyard as well as in the cellar, this Grand Vin de Cabernet Sauvignon is typical of the “Saint-Estèphe” appellation: structured, tannic, but with all the finesse and flavor. elegance of a Grand Cru Classé. As it ages, it develops a delicate and complex bouquet. With a strong aging potential, it is characterized by an exceptional aging capacity. Certain vintages are considered as legendary wines (1921-1929-1982-1990-2009). Aged 18 months in 60% new French oak barrels, the Grand Vin represents 35 to 40% of the total production of Château Montrose.
