Under the stewardship of the late Anne-Claude Leflaive, the domaine became a pioneer in biodynamic farming in Burgundy, with the entire property achieving conversion in 1997.

The Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru is produced from a single 1.15-hectare parcel planted in 1958. All fruit is manually harvested before fermentation in 25% new oak casks and maturation in cask for 12 months. 2018 was an exceptional vintage for white Burgundy and this is a full-bodied, complex and incredibly long wine built for the long haul.
