The property's second wine was created in 1985 following the takeover by the Suntory group. It comes from vines that are on average 30 years old today and planted on fine gravel soils for Cabernet Sauvignon and clay for some Merlots. It is the subject of the same care as for Grand Vin, with a search for maturity and concentration in the vineyard, plot vinification and aging adapted to its tannic structure. The wine is characterized by round and melted tannins, aromas of red or black fruits on its youth and nevertheless shows good aging potential.
