Pinot just ripe, the Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Pimentiers Rouge 2017 displays beautiful delicate notes of raspberry and sour cherry, in an elegant style. The palate is very stylish, smooth and fresh, delicately infused and very delicious. A perfect accomplishment to set aside with roast poultry or veal chop with thyme.
Burgundy still knows how to offer white wines at reasonable prices for remarkable quality and pleasure. This is the case for small villages like Savigny-les-Beaune: the notes of dried fruits, quince paste and fresh butter make this cuvée very flattering. The mouth is slender and greedy, marked on the finish by notes of aging.
