Located on the South / South-West facing slopes of Ampuis, this wine comes from two different plots. One gives full-bodied wines while the other plot offers smoother and more aromatic wines: this wine therefore combines structure and aromas! The palate is silky, fruity with very present tannins but without any astringency.
This Côte Rotie is made from a blend of 90% Syrah and 10% Viognier aged 25 years and planted on the granite terroir of a 2.5 hectare terrace. After a long fermentation of 3 weeks, this nectar was aged in barrels for 18 months. Bottling therefore took place 2 years after the harvest to allow us to appreciate this wine with a deep and sustained red robe....
