This cuvée is the fruit of 1.31 hectares of 70-year-old Pinot Noir blossoming in "Les Jarollières". This climate has an ideal location among the premier crus of Pommard. Located on the stony hillside of the appellation, it borders with the famous 1er Cru Les Rugiens and neighboring the 1er Cru de Volnay, Frémiets. Clay-limestone soil, eastern exposure....
This Pommard 1er Cru has a very fresh nose dominated by red fruits with a subtle woody note. The mineral mouth expresses flavors of game and very deep red fruits. The finish is long and balanced.
