La Croix de Beaucaillou, the second wine of Château Ducru-Beaucaillou which came into being with the 1995 vintage, is made from young vines from the estate - 10 years old or less - and vats not selected for the first wine. Two grape varieties are blended here: a little black Merlot and a lot of Cabernet Sauvignon, up to 85% in certain vintages.
