The Morey Saint-Denis appellation, Clos-Saint-Denis produces concentrated and racy wines which evolve towards more tender wines than for the other grands crus of the town. From red fruit during the first years, it evolves towards developing liquorice and violet then finally towards leather after around ten years of aging.
